Very useful
Indeed, for those who start, which is the case for my whole family, the small size of the ball is very useful for us to learn the balance
small ball / trainer ball
I found the smaller ball useful for learning to react to the 360 degree range of motion you get on the skill board. Also because the board is closer to the ground when using the smaller ball, it requires a faster response to avoid the board touching the ground. I still use it sometimes as a warm up before going to the standard size ball. Both are lots of fun.
67 year old man with small and large balls
With a sports injury list that includes a knee replacement, foot reconstruction and 2 ruptured Achilles’ tendons, I was experiencing muscle weakness and loss of balance. Since getting my Skillboard for Christmas, I have worked my way up to 45 minute workouts. 30 seconds without a grab assist but never stepping off the board! My legs are stronger than they were 40 years ago and I’m looking forward to setting prs for balancing duration! Small ball really helped in staying on the board instead of panic bail. Awesome training tool and fun, too!
